Nursery – Nørrebro – Copenhagen

 
Jagtvejens Asyl is a nursery nominated for 27 children ages 0-3. The children gets to develop in a safe and loving environment with lots of fun, learning and all the care and guidance they need.

As one of only few nurseries in Copenhagen we follow the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (or DAP). DAP is a pedagogic approach where the children are encouraged in their learning through different themes and projects.

A caring and familiar routine with affection and guidance is important for children – especially toddlers – therefore we always have a plan for the day with prepared activities. Naturally there are also lots of room for spontaneousness and new directions, but the main routines are always predetermined and fully thought through.

We are passionated, engaged and skilled at observing the children’s behavior and interests, – and to afterwards use those observations to create an inspiring everyday with plenty of fun and development.
